Seattle Southside is only 15 minutes south of downtown and right near the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. As the eighth busiest airport in the US, more than 31 airlines provide non-stop daily service to 77 domestic and 22 international destinations. This gives you plenty of effortless options! There are complimentary hotel shuttles available to and from the airport.

Relax on the Rails

Watch the scenery fly by on one of three trains servicing the Seattle Southside area. Amtrak provides transportation from Oregon to British Columbia, while the Sounder takes passengers to and from downtown Seattle and the Lakewood areas. A short Link Light Rail ride takes visitors to see famous Seattle attractions.

By Ground

Visitors can enjoy epic views on the roads leading into Seattle Southside. People from the north or south can jump on I-5, while those traveling in from the west have the option of taking I-90 or I-84. Just be ready to find a good spot to stretch your legs. Here are some popular drive times:

Bus & Shuttle Information

The Metro has bus routes countywide for visitors to get around the Seattle Southside region with ease. You also have the option of taking the Westfield Southcenter shuttle, which offers free trips daily from select hotels to Westfield Southcenter. Hop on the bus and experience all the great shopping, dining and entertainment Seattle Southside has to offer.

Group Transportation

Ferries

Just north of the Seattle Southside region, you can set sail on one of three ferries that explore in and around Puget Sound. Cruise like a local on the Washington State Ferry, King County Water Taxi or the iconic Victoria Clipper ferry. With more than 15 city stops, it's one of the most relaxing and unique ways to experience the gateway of the Pacific Northwest.

Rent a Car

Visitors can travel at their own pace by renting a car from the largest car rental facility in Washington state, conveniently located right in Seattle Southside. With nearly a dozen options to choose from, you can stop frequently to check out landmarks and grab a bite to eat at local restaurants or opt for a long day trip to different locales.

SeaTac Shopping & Dining Shuttle

Seattle-Tacoma International Airport

This happening hub is home to a couple of airfields, including Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, providing 77 nonstop flights to domestic destinations and 22 nonstop flights to international destination. And you’ll also find plenty of park-and-fly hotel specials.
